Just found this post about Macbeth, and just got home from seeing it at the Lyceum–a terrific production! I don’t know what the deal was with opening ticket purchases up to AmEx customers first. I had to wait until the Visa-carrying hoi polloi got to line up at the box office. In a way, I’m glad I don’t live in NY–I’d go bankrupt just buying theater tix.

Must be a lot of people with those Gold Cards or better - I logged on right at the appointed hour and the best I could do without going to premium seating was Row H. Best I could do for premium (just to check it out was Row A Mezzanine, even though the row immediately behind it was at half the price).

patrick stewart rules! i´ve been following his acting for 25years now. i watched his roles on television, on the big screen and i´ve been lucky enough to watch him on stage where he´s always said his heart and soul belongs. he is dedicated, ambitious and always convincing! he truly is an actor´s actor, an artist, too few walk this earth. only one or two a century get born with this talent and rise it to this extend and fill it with dignity and awe! god holds an eye on this gifted human being! ralph thornbird
