Just found this post about Macbeth, and just got home from seeing it at the Lyceum–a terrific production! I don’t know what the deal was with opening ticket purchases up to AmEx customers first. I had to wait until the Visa-carrying hoi polloi got to line up at the box office. In a way, I’m glad I don’t live in NY–I’d go bankrupt just buying theater tix.
Hey Theresa–glad you liked Macbeth. Yes, buying theatre tickets can take a toll on the old bank account, but I can’t think of anything else I’d rather spend it on. Carrie Bradshaw has her shoes, we have Patrick Stewart in Macbeth.
