I’ve got my tickets for November 13 to see the pre-Broadway production of Jill Santoriello’s musical, A Tale of Two Cities, running now through November 18 at the Asolo Repertory Theatre in Sarasota Florida.
Until I’m there to soak it in personally, I’m entertaining myself with some of the sights and sounds that have leaked out of Sarasota to keep us all intrigued. Let’s start with the visual. Here are a few production photos of the show. Many more can be found at broadway.com’s Stagenotes blog.

And for your aural delight, here are some sound bites from the concept CD. Les Mis, anyone? I’m not complaining, just calling it like I hear it.
The show officially opened on October 19, but I find narry an online review. There is some faux buzz on the show’s website, but nothing official yet. Not sure why that is, but I’ll post any that surface in the next few days. And of course you’ll have my opinion soon enough. Until then, enjoy…
