I think it’s time for another Broadway Hottie, don’t you? Though I certainly appreciate David Bell’s generosity in letting me pillage his Hot Guy Alert fortress, I’ve been wanting to feature someone a little less…how you say…puerile.

Today’s Broadway Hottie is Steve Blanchard, now playing The Creature in a new musical version of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein at 37 Arts. He has been seen as both Gaston and the Beast on Broadway in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and also originated the title role in off-Broadway’s Johnny Guitar. And in my book, he definitely qualifies for today’s post.

Oh, yes, a hottie to be sure. But the show…oh, my god, the show… Check out my review:

Thanks for the 4-1-1 on the show, Chris. Listening to the concept CD, I’ve had my doubts about it, but I tried to hope for the best. The more I see and read, the more I fear my original instincts may have been correct. I plan to see it when I go to NYC in November. Maybe I’ll go the TKTS route. Sounds like there might be tickets available (if it’s still open).

Good to see Steve’s acting career is doing so well. Hey Steve, great tatoo’s. Hope life is treating you well. Do you ever get back to The Port Tobacco Players?
